About Miki
I began my yoga practice during my mid 20s as a way to heal my body from years of lower back pain. After a few lessons, I felt positive changes in my body and mind and I realized how my physical pain was linked to emotional stress. After years of practice, I though about sharing my exprience with others also struggling with thier bodies and minds.
After several years teaching and practicing Hatha yoga in Japan, I moved abroad to study different styles of yoga. In 2018, I moved to the US and started practicing Vinyasa yoga. I was hooked immediately, and have maintained a consistent daily practice since then.
In 2019, I completed my 200-hour Trauma-informed Teacher Training, becoming an Alliance certified teacher. In 2021, I became a certified teacher of yoga for seniors and completed my training as a Yin yoga teacher.
My main focus as a teacher is to suport your yoga journey in a safely manner, creating a peaceful space for my students. I hope you leave my class feeling peaceful. My classes are open for everyone, especially begginers, and people with tight bodies or limited mobility.
I offer Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga online lessons. I currently live in Spain and offer in person classes in Valencia.
